My Diet History
I have always been a large guy (Okay, fat).
All during elementary, junior and high school, I have been the focus of jokes, sneers and looks. It wasn't pretty.
In 1998, I went into the U.S. Army and after I graduated from Basic, I lost a total of 40 lbs. From 200 to 160. I was amazed and thrilled. I was so skinny, my mother didn't recognize me when we met. LOL.
While in the Army, I did gain weight, but only to 180 or so. But in 1996, when I got out of the Army for good, my weight went up drastically.
In 2004, I was up 230 lbs. Yuck.
Thats when I found out that my father is diabetic. That scared me for I have been borderline diabetic before.
So I got on the diet he had to be on and I lost all that weight I gained over the eight years.
A pic of me back in 2005.
But I have a history of being on the rollercoaster.
As of today, I am 220 lbs. Not good.
So, I am getting back on a diet and I am taking a diet supplement called Calotren. I have been on it for only 1 week, so I haven't seen any results yet. They say it takes up to 90 days to see the results, so I will wait.
Take a look at the Success stories. This was the major reason why I went ahead and bought this. Usually, I pessimistic about such weight loss pills. Been there, done that kind of thing.
So...that's where I am on the diet thing. Please pray that I can lose the weight. I just need to lose 35 lbs. My health is probably in the balance with this, since my family has heart problems, and weight problems as well.

I will pray for success, but I want you to promise me you will call your doctor and tell him about it. Some of those supplements can be harmful to some people, even if they have success stories behind them. I had a friend hospitalized after using one that other people were using without trouble.
Okay, now I'll quit being your mom and say good luck. :)
