Amen, I can't wait to be in total awe and wonder. My mother's husband recently passed away. Not long before he died he said, "I know there will be a lot to see in Heaven, but I just want to be close to Jesus." I can't wait to take it all in for eternity.
I have a joke that goes like this, "When I get to heaven, the first thing I am going to ask God is...............where did all the socks go?"
It's where you find the other sock is missing when you pull them out of the dryer? You know you put a pair of socks into the dryer, but, alas, one one of them appears when you pull them out! :D
I have a huge bag of socks that don't match. I just don't get it. Even when we have moved, they don't turn up. Especially my daughters. I try to hard to keep those socks together.
On a more serious note, I hope I get to meet the people in heaven that I met here on earth and know who they are. I love to talk to people and bless people, especially strangers. I am teaching my daughter how to be gracious and kind, especially to people that are different. I hope one day Jesus will say, "you smiled at that one and they saw me." So cool.
